Storage
S3-compatible object storage with high durability and simple access controls.
Concepts
- Bucket — a named container for objects. Bucket names are unique across Popug Cloud.
- Object — a file and its metadata, addressed by a key such as
images/logo.png. - Visibility — buckets are private by default. Public buckets are served through the CDN.
Working with the CLI
# create a bucket, upload, list and delete
popug storage mb s3://my-bucket
popug storage upload ./image.jpg s3://my-bucket/image.jpg
popug storage ls s3://my-bucket
popug storage rm s3://my-bucket/image.jpg
S3-compatible access
Any S3-compatible SDK or tool can talk to Storage. Use the following settings:
| Endpoint | https://s3.popug.cloud |
|---|---|
| Addressing | Path-style (https://s3.popug.cloud/my-bucket/key) |
| Credentials | Access key and secret from the Console |
| Regional endpoints | https://<region>.s3.popug.cloud |
Requests that are not signed receive an S3-style AccessDenied or NoSuchBucket XML error.
Presigned URLs
Share a private object for a limited time:
popug storage presign s3://my-bucket/image.jpg --expires 1h
Limits
